Those of us who cannot forget are stewards to those who cannot remember. The Flight 93 National Memorial is a contemplative space dedicated to preserving the memory of United Airlines Flight 93’s 40 passengers and crew who bravely confronted the terrorists, thwarting their plan of crashing the plane into its target, likely in Washington, DC. We consider leading this trip a sacred obligation to continue passing the torch of remembrance.
